I got involved with APACC because I wanted to be apart of a community with students like myself from the same or similar backgrounds and make genuine connections. I also wanted to create a space for Asian (American) students at a PWI where they have a good support system and understand that they are just as important as anybody else.

Hello.  I joined APACC as the Director in July 2010.  I have done academic advising, internship coordination and career counselling in my previous jobs at CSU.  I’m a first generation college student and third generation Japanese American.   I grew up in downtown Denver and Lakewood, Colorado.

Hi all! I am the APACC Assistant Director. I grew up in Aurora, CO, but have also lived in Duluth, MN, Vernon, CT, and Tucson, AZ. I identify as a multiracial, fourth-generation (Yonsei) Japanese American cis-woman. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, taking walks, napping, and being in community with people I appreciate.
